The Senior Vice President, Toys, Games, Licensing and Entertainment (TGLE) Finance & Operations is a critical senior leader responsible for the comprehensive financial and operational strategy, execution, and governance of Hasbro’s global consumer business. This role oversees financial planning, commercial support, operational effectiveness, and investment strategy across the TGLE portfolio.

 

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer , the SVP operates at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Commercial Strategy—serving as a critical architect and advisor to the enterprise. As a key member of Hasbro’s senior leadership, this role partners closely with senior global leaders to advance Hasbro’s growth agenda, elevate operational performance, and embed a high-impact, future-ready finance culture.

 

A day in the life:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Serve as a senior advisor to the CFO/COO, and President of TGLE, providing financial vision, analytical insight, and strategic direction across Toy, Game, Entertainment, Licensing and Commercial businesses.
  • Act as the primary financial partner and thought partner to the President of TGLE, delivering clear guidance on business planning, financial planning and operational efficiency.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across global markets, categories, and channels.
  • Drive forward-looking financial modeling and scenario planning to support innovation, content monetization, market expansion, and capital investment decisions.
  • Align regional and functional financial goals with Hasbro’s global business strategy, ensuring fiscal discipline and strategic clarity.
  • Shape enterprise-level financial outcomes through data-driven decision-making, risk management, and long-range planning.

Finance & Decision Support

  • Lead the global TGLE and Commercial Finance organization , ensuring financial planning and performance management are tightly aligned with Hasbro’s enterprise objectives.
  • Deliver high-impact decision support across strategic partnerships, licensing structures, and corporate initiatives—driving revenue growth and long-term value creation.
  • Build and continuously evolve a disciplined, agile financial framework that enables international expansion, business model innovation, and scalable operations.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready narratives that inform strategic decisions, enhance accountability, and shape enterprise priorities.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on cost structure improvement, capital allocation, and operational governance.
  • Champion digitization and automation across finance operations, enabling faster insights and scalability.
  • Drive process simplification and standardization in partnership with global functions to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in excellence, accountability, inclusion, and innovation.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top-tier financial talent across global regions and finance functions.
  • Build capabilities in financial planning, commercial finance, licensing economics, and strategic decision support.
  • Inspire and empower cross-functional teams while advancing succession planning and leadership pipeline development.

Governance, Risk & Transformation

  • Lead global finance transformation initiatives, with a focus on technology enablement and future-ready capabilities.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit frameworks, and regional/international regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a key financial steward and governance leader, ensuring operational transparency and financial integrity.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Finance, Strategy, or Accounting strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of executive-level experience in Finance, Strategy, or Operations within global, consumer-facing enterprises.
  • Proven leadership in matrixed, complex environments—preferably in consumer products, entertainment, or digital IP/licensing sectors.
  • Expertise in financial planning, FP&A, commercial finance, business modeling, and global P&L management.
  • Demonstrated success in enterprise transformation, capital planning, and strategic resource optimization.
  • Outstanding executive presence, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the intersection between financial performance and strategic growth drivers.
  • Background in media, entertainment, FMCG, or toy/game industries is highly desirable.

Compensation Range, Currency USD:
Starting Pay Range: $304,400 Pay Range End: $456,600
