As a Club Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, greeting and engaging with guests and members, selling memberships and training services, and leading a cohesive and motivated team. Key Responsibilities

  • Membership + training sales – the priority of the club manager role is centered around membership and training sales. Managers must qualify, inform, inspire, and convert leads to members.
  • Brand promoters – when you love your gym, others will too. The club manager establishes relationships with businesses and influencers in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person also helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
  • Team builders – leading a team and driving results through motivation and fun is a key component of being a club manager. This person is hired to inspire all members of your team to foster a trusting, positive environment members and guests want to engage with.
  • Culture creators – club managers love creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet.
Job Requirements Experience in the fitness Industry is not required, but great communication and top tier customer service skills are. Prospecting:
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to prospective customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Make outbound calls to potential members and introduce our services
  • Schedule appointments for potential members who wish to learn more about our services
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls and related details
As the club manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of day-to-day operations to ensure the success of our business. Your key duties will include:
  • Monitoring club performance and KPIs on a daily basis using various reports
  • Ensuring the club maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Managing and motivating staff to perform to the best of their abilities
  • Driving membership sales and creating strategies to capture new members
  • Dealing with member complaints and cancellations in a prompt and professional manner
A good candidate for the club manager position is:
  • 18 years or older
  • Friendly, outgoing, and warm
  • Genuine and honest
  • Assertive, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings until 7pm
  • Technologically savvy
  • Effective at managing multiple tasks, schedules, and time
