Budtender job description:   

  • The Budtender requires retail and customer service, merchandising, and inventory 

management skills. 

  • Answering, assisting, and directing all incoming telephone calls to 

appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner. 

  • Operating computers systems to check-in guests and perform other work- 

related duties. 

  • Performing related clerical work and projects such as typing, filing, and 

sorting mail distribution. 

  • Cleaning, stocking, and organizing dispensary; working with others to keep 

all areas clean and stocked in accordance with the Company’s standards at 

all times. 

  • Inputting orders in a timely and accurate manner, collecting money from 

guests for products purchased, maintaining a balanced cash drawer. 

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and products offered. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone with a friendly and engaging attitude creating repeat and loyal customers.

 

Budtender Job Requirements:  

• Knowledge of cannabis required, experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation. 

• Reliable, punctual and able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, holidays and evening hours.

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Must be able to provide job references. 

• Works well in team environments and takes direction from peers. 

• Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in retail and customer service, management experience is a plus. 

• Ability to work in a highly regulated and fast-changing environment. 

 

Physical Requirements (Per Federal Guidelines):  

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours) 
  • Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and lift frequently throughout shifts. 
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 25-50 lbs independently.

  Job location:   

  • Helen, Ga, on-site

Hours and Compensation:  

  • 3- or 4-day weeks, full-time 
  • Negotiable based on experience
